An IPTV yearly subscription, like each of the four plans, is paid for once. The plan’s button opens WhatsApp with the order already typed; an email to [email protected] naming the plan works just as well. Back comes a secure link from the team, and that page takes debit or credit card or PayPal. It is hosted by the payment firm, so the card number goes into it and nowhere else, never into the chat and never to us.
After that single charge there is nothing running in the background: no direct debit, no card saved for next time, no renewal. When the end date comes, access stops and the money side is already finished.
Expect your bank to step in. Under Strong Customer Authentication, which most people know as 3D Secure, most online card payments in the EU need your approval, either inside the bank’s app or with a one-time code by SMS. If the request times out before you confirm, the team can send another link.
Paying by PayPal? PayPal’s current terms decide what it does for a digital service; check them on its website before paying any seller. A seller who wants the money sent as a personal payment instead of a purchase counts as a warning sign.
A card payment has one more layer. If a service you paid for never materialised, the bank behind your card may be able to pull the payment back, a process called a chargeback, under deadlines it sets for itself. Speak to the seller first; a message tends to resolve things faster. Ireland’s Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) also publishes general guidance for consumers.
